As a child, the White Martian M'gann M'orzz is sent to the Vega system in order to escape the civil war on Mars. At an unknown time, through unknown means, M'gann made her way to Earth. Once there, she disguises herself as a Green Martian after seeing the Martian Manhunter hailed as a hero. She soon joins the Teen Titans and begins going by Megan Morse but quickly feels like an outcast in the super group. She leaves and decides to try and hep people in Australia. The Titans investigate, suspicious that Megan is a traitor only to discover that another new member, Bombshell, is actually a traitor. Megan and the Titans are able to defeat Bombshell, leading to Megan being welcomed back into the team.

Megan and Cyborg interrogate Bombshell at Belle Reve and discover the existence of Titans East. When the Titans battle Titans East, Megan faces off against Sun Girl. Sun Girl claims to be from a future where all Martians are slaves because of a choice that Megan makes. Megan presses Sun Girl time and again to find out what the choice is but when her foe doesn't relent, Megan extinguishes Sun Girl's flames and defeats her.

The Titans then battle the Titans Tomorrow, their Megan having embraced her White Martian heritage and having a different appearance. Modern Megan kills her future self and unknowingly absorbs the future Manhunter's mind. Disruptor of the Terror Titans later attacks Megan and almost pulls her future self's consciousness out before the hero is captured. She is thrown into a cell with a mindless and savage Kid Devil and has difficulty reaching him thanks to the interference of Granny Goodness. With great effort, Megan is able to heal Kid Devil's mind and the two are able to escape. As a result, Megan believes she is now able to dismiss her future self whenever she wants.

Evil urges continue to press in on her, however, and force her to take a sabbatical from the team. She is seen again in the Dark Side Club, posing as the Star-Spangled Kid and using her powers to free the brainwashed metas. After the Final Crisis, she rejoins the Titans and brings Static and Aquagirl with her. Megan is the only member that supports Beast Boy when he returns to lead the team. Unfortunately, while the rest of the team if arguing with Beast Boy, Megan is attacked and kidnapped by Wyld. The team rallies and is able to rescue her.

Batman recruits Megan to mentally contact Starman who is being held captive by a crazed Alan Scott. Megan agrees and travels to the Watchtower before reaching out telepathically. She forms a connection and is feeding information to the League before suddenly transforming into her White Martian self and attacking the League. Power Girl is able to knock Megan out and suspects that the Starheart was able to take control of the young hero.

Megan then has a run in with a young new psychic before teaming up with Supergirl to defeat her. Megan is among the Titans that battle Superboy-Prime and the Legion of Doom, facing off and defeating her old nemesis Sun Girl.
