The Green Lantern of Earth 9 is a mystical hero with unknown origins. The three more popular ones are as follow.
Famed adventurer/archaeologist Lois Lane is murdered and dumped into the Atlantic ocean where Florida once was. Through some unknown means, she was resurrected by the vengeful dead there and charged with helping other spirits finish their business so that they can finally rest.
Another story tells the tale of two twin sisters that fight over a powerful mystical power. The good sister wins and places the power in the lantern, dedicating her life to bringing justice to the wronged dead.
The last of the popular tales claim that she is Zatanna, sent on a mission by the Dark Circle of Magicians to find the lantern.
No matter which story is true, Green Lantern is among the bravest heroes of her world. During the Infinite Crisis, she joins the other heroes of her world in saving as many lives as possible. Once the Crisis passes, she travels to New Earth and meets Kyle Rayner. Some time later, she is separated from her Lantern and begins to age at an accelerated rate, though she is unable to die for some reason.
Her Lantern returns to her Earth and heals her, allowing her to help form an alliance with New Earth heroes in order to stop the invasion of Earth 9 Superman.
