Jimmy Olsen is a hacktivist on Earth 2 with New Gods physiology that allows him to mentally influence computer systems. Using the handle “Accountable,” Olsen was able to perform such large scale hacking activities that many believe he is actually an entire organization. The World Army eventually captures him and imprisons him at their Arkham base.
While the new Batman, Red Tornado and Sonia Sato free Aquawoman they also release Olsen. Before escaping, Jimmy convinces them to free another prisoner; an alien that had led to Jimmy's own capture. They free Val-Zod and then blind-fold Jimmy so that he does not see the horrific slaughter outside the base. He is taken to the Batcave and then helps the Wonders of the World in their continuing adventures.
After the events of Convergence, Olsen helps the other heroes transfer the survivors of Earth 2 to their new home, Telos. Olsen soon adopts the name Dr. Impossible complete with a costume.
